Since then, TC has relied on its people’s expertise and enthusiasm.
These collective certification brands are awarded to companies certified under the RE/APU referential “collection and process of used tyres”. Collectors, processors, and valorizators in the tyre sector are concerned. QUALICERT certification is attributed to industry and tyre process professionals whose work procedures ensure a good level of quality and traceability. Since 2004, TC is working on collecting, sorting, and valorizing used tyres (in partnership with the ecoorganism ALIAPUR) with its subsidiaries TC58 and TC 35.
The ISO 9001 norm is part of the ISO 900 chain, relative to the quality management system. It defines requirements for the organization of the quality management system. It is based on 7 fundamental management principles: customer orientation, leadership, employee involvement, procedure approach, continuous improvement, proof-based decision making, management of involved parties.
TC is engaged in a voluntary and global approach to fight climate change and more precisely focused on its CO2 emissions, which consist in:
– realizing a CO2 diagnosis, generating a situational awareness, choosing a commitment perimeter, and a referral year,
– setting environmental performance indicators (example: g C02/t.km) with a 3-year reduction objective,
– planning a 3-year action plan around the four approach axes: vehicles, fuel, truck driver and transport flows organization.
TC adopts the most recent EURO norm (EURO 6). 95% of the group’s vehicles are under this new norm and are equipped with the SCR technology with AdBlue. Since the 1st October of 2009, every heavy vehicle (trucks, buses) first licensed in the European Union has to answer to the EURO norm. Today, thanks to EURO norms, promoted by the European Commission, road transport emits between 2 to 3 times less polluting emissions than at the beginning of the 90s.
TC travel through more than 35 million kilometers each year (21 million miles). The TC71 agency based in Digoin (center of France) started the transition to natural gas in 2017. Today, around ten vehicles run on natural gas – a cleaner fuel than diesel – with no loss of power.
TC chose a 100% french rapeseed composed fuel and some of our trucks now run on this biofuel. Oleo100 is biodegradable, non-toxic, non-ATEX (nonexplosive), and non-ICPE-classified (Classified Installation for Environmental Protection).
TC is an engaged supporter of the professional association Tred Union. The TredUnion network allows us to increase our responsiveness in terms of transport and logistics in France and over Europe. The network is composed of around 100 partners at your service! Its members’ expertise benefits the network and motivates the want to move forward. You can count on referenced providers sharing a common philosophy: economic optimization, offering competitiveness, and environment preservation. Commitment, respect, friendliness, regard, and solidarity are strong human values on which Tred Union based its creation in early 2009.
TC is a founding member of the professional association Tred Chariot (lift truck). This association brings together transport actors capable to propose solutions for the home delivery of bulky objects. Tred Chariot offers importers and manufacturers a global transport logistic and special delivery offer. This is the first network proposing national and international coverage, organized with grouping and forwarding hubs. Such an organization allows delay reductions, circuit optimizations, and therefore reduction in CO2 emissions.
